For numerous years, PTA sent home information on its programs and events via printed flyers in each student's backpack. THAT IS NO LONGER THE CASE!
In fall 2020, the Sulphur Springs Union School District began requiring all of the elementary schools in its jurisdiction, which includes Mitchell, to use the ParentSquare online platform for all of its communications with parents. This includes information from the principal, teachers, and PTA.
PTA information is embedded in the principal's "Monday Minute" each week, usually toward the bottom of the email. In order to stay up to date on PTA information, including event dates and deadlines for purchasing items, please make sure to thoroughly read the "Monday Minute," as well as any other ParentSquare emails that come to you. If PTA attaches any electronic flyers to the "Monday Minute," we will post them below.
If you are having trouble receiving the ParentSquare emails (either on your computer or on your phone via the app), your settings might be off. In that case, please visit the school office and someone will assist you.
